Cookie Policy

Last updated: February 5, 2026

We explain what cookies are, which ones we use, for what purpose, and how you can manage your preferences. This site implements Google Consent Mode v2 with denied defaults: until you express your consent, no analytics or advertising cookies are activated.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They serve to remember preferences, measure site usage and, if the user authorises it, show more relevant advertising. Technologies equivalent to local storage (localStorage), device identifiers and tracking pixels are also considered here.

2. Google Consent Mode v2

Before the Google tag (AW-18064110603) is loaded, the site sets the parameters ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage and personalization_storage to the “denied” state by default. Only when you accept or save specific preferences is an “update” signal sent to Google, together with the “cookie_consent_update” event pushed to the dataLayer.

In this way, even if a Google Ads placement brings a user to this site, no advertising measurement is activated until explicit consent is given.

3. Categories we use

a) Strictly necessary: allow the site to load, maintain the session, remember the selected language and protect against abuse. They cannot be disabled.

b) Functionality: remember non-essential preferences, such as the last section visited or reading mode.

c) Analytics: help us understand, on an aggregated basis, which content is useful. We do not use advertising identifiers in this category.

d) Advertising: allow us to measure the effectiveness of Google Ads campaigns and, if you authorise personalization, to show more relevant advertising outside the site.

4. Technical detail

Browser local storage: key “capveraqm.consent.v1”, retains your decisions so the banner is not shown again on every visit.

Session cookies: used for load balancing and site security; expire when the browser is closed.

Third-party cookies (only after consent): Google Ads / Google tag, on the domains .google.com, .googleadservices.com and .doubleclick.net.

5. How to manage your preferences

You can change your decision at any time via the “Manage preferences” link in the footer, or by clearing your browser’s local storage to see the banner again. You can also disable cookies from your browser settings, although some non-essential parts of the site may lose functionality.

6. Changes

We will update this policy when the services used or the applicable regulatory framework change. The last-reviewed date is shown at the beginning of the document.
